Double Success for Dental Care Ireland at the Irish Private Healthcare Awards
October 16th, 2026
Dental Care Ireland won two awards at the Irish Private Healthcare Awards 2026, held on Friday, 2 October 2026: Excellence in Staff Development & Retention for the group, and Best Dental Practice for Dental Care Ireland Kells, Co. Meath.
Together, these two awards reflect what matters most to us: investing in the people who make up our teams, and delivering a consistently high standard of care to every patient who walks through our doors.
Best Dental Practice 2026: Dental Care Ireland Kells, Co. Meath
We want to extend our warmest congratulations to the team at Dental Care Ireland Kells on being named Best Dental Practice.
This award recognises the outstanding work the Kells team delivers day in, day out. From the quality of clinical care and the warmth of the patient experience, to the strong teamwork and practice performance behind the scenes, Kells is a shining example of what great dentistry looks like at practice level.
Lindi Barber, Head of Operations, said:
“We’re incredibly proud of the Kells team on being named Best Dental Practice. This award is a fantastic recognition of the high standards they deliver every day, from the quality of patient care to the way the team works together. It’s a brilliant achievement and very well deserved.”
To every dentist, nurse, hygienist, receptionist and practice manager in Kells: thank you. Your commitment to your patients and to one another is what earned this recognition.
Excellence in Staff Development & Retention Award 2026
At Dental Care Ireland, we believe that great patient care starts with great people. That’s why we’re especially proud to have won Excellence in Staff Development & Retention, an award that recognises the investment we make in our teams across the group.
Our focus on people includes:
- Training and continuous development, so that colleagues can keep building their skills and knowledge throughout their careers.
- Career progression, with clear opportunities for team members to grow, take on new responsibilities and move forward within the group.
- A supportive workplace, where colleagues feel valued, listened to and backed by the wider Dental Care Ireland network.
Tara Maxwell, HR Business Partner, said:
“Winning the Excellence in Staff Development & Retention award is a fantastic recognition of the focus we place on our people. We want Dental Care Ireland to be a place where colleagues can build their careers, continue to develop and feel genuinely supported. This award belongs to our teams across the group, whose commitment and contribution make DCI what it is.”
What the Irish Private Healthcare Awards 2026 Mean for Our Patients and People
These two awards share a strong connection. When colleagues are supported, developed and given the opportunity to grow, that shows up in the care they provide. The success of our Kells practice is a reflection of exactly that. A skilled, motivated and close-knit team delivering an excellent experience for patients.
We would like to thank the organisers and judges of the Irish Private Healthcare Awards, congratulate our fellow winners and finalists, and above all thank our teams across Dental Care Ireland. This recognition belongs to you.
