Dental Cleaning

At Dental Care Ireland, we advise that you attend the dental hygienist at least every six months for a scale and polish.  This reduces the chances of problems developing and minimises your risk of developing tooth decay and gum disease in the future.

During your appointment, the hygienist will thoroughly clean all deposits and stains from your teeth, scale away tartar build-up and polish your teeth.

What happens at the Dental Hygienist?

An appointment with a dental hygienist is recommended, every six months to keep on top of your oral hygiene and ensure your teeth and gums remain healthy.  During your appointment, the hygienist will thoroughly clean all deposits and stains from your teeth, scale away tartar build-up and polish your teeth.

The hygienist will offer instructions for your overall oral health including advice on brushing and flossing. The hygienist may also offer additional treatments for the care of particular gum related issues.
