July 21st, 2026
Dental Care Ireland is proud to support the next generation of dental professionals. We recognise the hard work, talent and dedication of students and new graduates across Ireland.
As one of Ireland’s leading dental groups, we want to help shape the future of oral healthcare. We support dental education, career development and dental professionals can build long-term careers around.
This year, we sponsored several awards in dentistry and dental hygiene. Each award celebrates high standards, patient care and professional achievement.
Recognising Excellence in Dental Education
Taylor Brown received the 2026 Best Portfolio of Treatment Award for 4th and 5th Year.
The award recognises Taylor’s clinical ability, commitment and high standards throughout her dental education. Her achievement reflects the talent entering the profession in Ireland.
We also sponsored the Dental Care Ireland Oral Health Promotion Award at the recent UCC Dental Hygiene Prize Giving.
Whitney Fonkoh received the award for her dedication to patient education and oral health promotion. Dental hygienists play a vital role in helping patients protect their oral health. We are delighted to recognise Whitney’s contribution.
Celebrating New Dental Hygiene Graduates
Dental Care Ireland also sponsored the Best Clinical Viva Award at the 2026 Dublin Dental University Hospital Dental Hygiene graduation.
Aoibhe Monaghan and Sarah Feeney achieved the same highest mark. They received the award as joint winners.
Their result highlights their knowledge, clinical skills and professionalism. We were delighted to celebrate this important milestone as they begin their careers in dental hygiene.
