Przemek graduated in 1994 from Warsaw Medical University. Following qualification he worked in the Prosthodontic Department of Warsaw Medical University and taught undergraduate students in prosthodontics until 2003. In the same year he completed his five year speciality training and has become a registered specialist in the area of prosthodontics. Between 1995 and 2005 Przemek worked in a number of private state-of-the-art dental clinics in Warsaw offering a full range of dental treatments with a strong emphasis on prosthodontics and dental aesthetics. In 2005 he left Poland and moved to the UK where he worked in two mixed, NHS and private, practices and continued his postgraduate training by attending two one-year part-time courses in Restorative Dentistry and Aesthetic Dentistry in the renowned Paul Tipton’s St. Ann’s Dental Education Centre in Manchester.

In 2008 Przemek moved to Ireland and joined a private dental practice in Drogheda. Since then, after attending numerous practical and theoretical courses in the world-renowned Dawson Academy in the UK and USA, he has become one of only a few Dawson dentists in Ireland. A Dawson dentist is one who has dedicated many hours of postgraduate education to learn how to care for patients at the highest ethical and professional level. A primary principle of Dawson dentistry is to do what is necessary to achieve long-term maintainable health and comfort as well as the creation and maintenance of a beautiful and natural smile. As a Dawson dentist Przemek is trained in an analysis of bite problems and related disorders of the TMJ (jaw joints). Through the Dawson Academy and other training courses Przemek continually updates his knowledge of the latest materials and methods so he is able to provide the finest in smile design that can stand the long test of time. In 2011 Przemek became a certified provider of INVISALIGN – the world’s best known system of nearly invisible clear aligners which is a great alternative to fixed braces for teen and adults. Przemek is also a certified provider of Six Months Smile which is a popular short-term fixed orthodontic system for adults.

In 2013 Przemek moved to the Westport area and became a co-owner and principal dentist of Westport Dental Centre. He lives with his wife, Agnieszka, in the lovely area of Rosmalley and enjoys trekking, mountain biking and windsurfing.

Agnieszka graduated in 1993 from Gdansk Medical University in Poland. After her vocational training she moved to Vancouver in Canada where she lived for two and a half years. In 2000 she successfully completed her three year part-time postgraduate specialty training in general dentistry in Warsaw, Poland. Between 1997 and 2005 she worked in private dental clinics in Warsaw, Poland, offering a full range of dental treatments.

In 2005 Agnieszka left Poland and moved to the UK where she worked in two mixed, NHS and private, dental practices in North West England. At that time, she developed her interest in root canal therapy and attended a ten month part-time practical course focused on new techniques in that therapy, led by Dr Mike Horrocks in Liverpool.

In 2008 Agnieszka moved to Ireland and joined a dental practice in Drogheda. Since then she has been pursuing her training in the field of root canal therapy. In 2010 she attended “The art of endodontics” in Santa Barbara, USA, a course led by world-renowned specialist endodontist Dr Stephen Buchanan, followed by a three-day course “Advanced endodontics” in Florence, Italy, led by another very respected specialist, Dr Arnaldo Castellucci. In June 2013 Agnieszka successfully completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology in Chester University in the UK and is currently studying for the Master of Science (MSc) in Endodontology at the same university.

Most recently, after intensive training in Ireland, the UK and Poland, Agnieszka has started offering Facial Aesthetics Treatments, something she’s always been passionate about. These include antiwrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels and mesotherapy.

In 2013 Agnieszka moved to Westport and became a co-owner of the Westport Dental Centre. She lives with her husband Przemek in Rosmalley near Westport and apart from dentistry she loves reading, watching good movies and travelling.

Rachel was a past pupil of The Sacred Heart school here in Westport and completing her work experience in this very practice. She graduated from The University of Manchester with a BDS qualification in 2007. She then went on to obtain The Diploma of The Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed.) in 2011. In 2012 she obtained a Diploma in Facilitated Learning in Dental Practice with The University College of Lancaster (UCLAN). This was further supplemented by a Dental Foundation Trainee Trainer’s Programme with the Health Education North East (HENE) in 2014. This allowed Rachel to train and educate newly qualified dentists in practice bridging the gap from university into general practice. She enjoyed working in general practice in Cheshire and the Lake District for the last 10 years but was delighted to have the opportunity to move back to Westport and join Westport Dental Centre in the summer of 2017.

Dr Jorge Galinha graduated in 2023 from the Egas Moniz School of Health & Science, Portugal, where he completed the Integrated Master’s Degree in Dentistry. During his academic training he developed a strong interest in Oral Surgery and restorative treatments, combining both theoretical knowledge and extensive clinical practice.

After graduating, Dr Jorge Galinha worked as a general dentist in several dental clinics, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of treatments including restorative dentistry, endodontics, extractions and Oral surgery. His clinical practice focuses on providing comprehensive and patient-centred dental care, with particular attention to patient comfort and long-term oral health.

Dr Galinha has a particular interest in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry and is currently undertaking postgraduate training in Implantology at Egas Moniz School of Health & Science. He has also completed additional clinical training in surgical techniques and endodontics, further strengthening his ability to manage a variety of dental treatments.

He believes that listening carefully to patients and creating a calm and reassuring environment are key elements in delivering high-quality dental care. His aim is to help patients regain oral health, function and confidence in their smiles.

His main areas of interest include Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.

Dr Ricardo Trindade graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon, in Portugal. He soon moved to the UK, where he first worked as a general dentist in the NHS and private practice, and held a hospital post in Oral Surgery.
Dr Ricardo Trindade has been through postgraduate training in the UK and many other countries, thus being exposed to different approaches and building up resources that his patients can benefit from.

He has been working with dental implants for over 20 years, and was deeply involved in implant research in Sweden, having received a PhD from the University of Gothenburg’s Sahlgrenska Academy, the world renown pioneering center in Implant Dentistry.

Ricardo enjoys spending time listening to his patients and getting them to feel comfortable and at ease in the dental environment, while taking each patient on the journey to regain oral function and confidence with their smiles. His focus areas involve Implant Dentistry (main field), Oral Surgery, Periodontology and Prosthodontics.

Fiona started her dental profession as a dental nurse graduating from Athlone Institute of Technology and going on to work as a dental nurse in Dublin in 2012. From there she studied and graduated from University College Cork as a dental hygienist in 2018.

She has a keen interest in periodontal disease and customising oral hygiene regimes for each individual patient.

Fiona is confident about helping anxious or nervous patients who struggle with dental procedures feel at ease and ensures to make it a positive dental experience.

Outside the dental surgery she loves being outdoors and keeping fit at the gym.

Caroline completed her Dental Hygiene Diploma at UCC where she graduated with an Honours Diploma in 2010 and received the Henry Schein Best Clinical Examination Award. As part of the Diploma, she completed additional courses such as "Infiltration & Inferior Dental Block local Anaesthesia" and "Intra Oral and Panoramic Dental Radiography" Caroline is certified in Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) from the Irish heart foundation and Cardiac First Response from the Red Cross. Following completion of her Diploma she worked in a Periodontal practice for 2 years. She is registered with the Irish Dental Council and is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association.
