Sarah graduated from the University of Manchester in 2017. She then spent two years working in both Newcastle Dental Hospital and a general dental practice in South Shields, as part of the UK’s highly regarded General Professional Training scheme. Sarah achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2019 and joined Pearse Road Dental Practice later that year.

Sana Completed her dental training From University College Cork. Sana enjoys all areas or dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. She excels at providing comprehensive dental care whilst creating a relaxed and comfortable environment for her patients. She prides herself on being very thorough, gentle and compassionate in her treatment approach, focusing on preventative and conservative dentistry. She works closely with patients to customise a detailed dental care plan that focuses on promotion of lifelong dental care.

Dr Minu Thomas is a highly experienced orthodontist who has been helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles for over 20 years.

After qualifying as a dentist, Dr Thomas moved to Dublin in 1997, where she completed her Fellowship in General Dentistry in the year 2000. She began her specialist training in orthodontics at Trinity College Dublin in 2002. Her advanced training took place at both the Dublin Dental Hospital and Waterford Regional Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in treating children, teenagers, and adults with a wide variety of orthodontic needs.

She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Orthodontics and became fully registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the Dental Council of Ireland in 2005. In addition, she earned prestigious postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in both Ireland and Edinburgh.
For more than 18 years, Dr Thomas worked as a Specialist Orthodontist with the HSE in Dublin, where she treated many complex and challenging cases. This experience has given her a deep understanding of how to create effective, personalised treatment plans that achieve long-lasting results.

In 2023, Dr Thomas relocated to Sligo, where she now focuses on providing private orthodontic care. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve beautiful, healthy smiles in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Her philosophy of care is simple: every patient deserves the confidence that comes with a great smile.

Susan qualified at Queens University in Belfast in 2000 and was presented with the Ulster Hygienist of the year award. She has been working at Pearse Road Dental Practice since qualification. She regularly attends Continuing Professional Development conferences in Ireland and the UK. Susan is registered with the Dental Council of Ireland and is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association. Susan is a Past President of the Irish Dental Hygienists Association and currently an Advisory Board Member for Dental Protection Ltd in Ireland.

Vera qualified as a Dental Hygienist from University College Cork in 2002 and has worked in private practice since. In February 2025, she received a Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine Coaching. She is a member of the NSK Ikigai Oral Hygiene Program and is a Registered Dental Hygienist with the Irish Dental Council.

Cathriona graduated with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from University College Cork in 2021, where she was honoured with the Sensodyne Award, the Anne Holohan Dental Hygiene Award, and the Colm O’Sullivan Gold Medal in recognition of her achievements. 

Since qualifying, she has gained extensive experience working in both Ireland and Australia across general and specialist practices. Committed to providing the highest standard of patient care, Cathriona is an active member of the Dental Council of Ireland and the Irish Dental Hygienists Association, and she regularly undertakes continuing professional development courses to stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. 

She is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education to further enhance her knowledge and skills.
