Dr Daryll MoroneyDentistDr. Daryll Moroney qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2001. After a year of vocational training in the UK, he practised as an associate here in Glenville Dental from 2002 - 2007. Daryll then opened up his own practice in Monkstown, and practised there from 2007 - 2016. He then returned to Glenville Dental, and took over the practice from the retiring Dr. O'Leary in 2016, thus becoming only the third owner of Glenville Dental since the 1950s!
Dr. Moroney holds a Master's Degree in implant dentistry from Warwick University, and a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from Trinity College, Dublin. He has travelled extensively throughout Europe attending courses on aesthetic dentistry and implant dentistry. He is a former chairman of the Dublin Dental Study Club, and committee member of the Metropolitan branch of the Irish Dental Association. He is a current active member of the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, and the Irish Dental Association.
When not in Glenville Dental, Daryll spends time chasing his three young children around! He is an accomplished pianist and organist, and is a keen follower of the Irish rugby team. Dr. Moroney enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including providing dental treatments for all the family.
Dr Niall O'ConnorDentistDr Niall O'Connor graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1982 and after qualifying he worked in General Practice in Kent, England, for 3 years. He then completed an M.Sc. in Conservative Dentistry in the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He established a General Practice in Churchtown, Dublin in 1990 and for the past 33 years he has combined working in General Practice with a teaching position in the Dublin Dental Hospital where he teaches Advanced Restorative Dentistry to the final year students.
Niall was awarded the M.G.D.S .by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (R.C.S.I.) in 2016 and he is also an examiner for their M.G.D.S. programme. Throughout his 40 year career, he enjoys practising a conservative approach and maintaining his patients dentition by promoting good oral health leading to a happy smile!
Dr Catherine O’NeillDentistDr. Catherine O’Neill qualified with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 and received the Dental Council Prize for Child Dental Health.
Following her qualification, she remained in the Dublin Dental Hospital as a junior house officer, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of hospital dentistry. At this time, she completed her examinations for membership of the Faculty of Dentistry in the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr O’Neill then went into private practice in Dublin and has gained many years of experience in general dentistry, with emphasis on educating patients in oral health and the maintenance of a healthy smile. She assigns great importance to giving patients, both the very young and more mature, a positive experience when attending for their dental treatment, in particular those who are anxious.
Throughout her career, Dr O’Neill has continued her dental education by attending courses in paediatric dentistry and restorative dentistry and enjoys furthering her knowledge to provide a conservative approach in maintaining her patients oral health.
Dr Clare O'ConnellDentistDr Clare O'Connell qualified from University College Cork in 2018 with an Honours degree in Dentistry. She then spent 2 years working in a mixed NHS/private practice in London where she gained lots of experience working in general practice before moving home to Ireland. Clare enjoy all aspects of working in general practice and particularly enjoys treating children and nervous patients. She has completed a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry and MFDS examinations in the RCSI and hopes to do further training in the future. Clare enjoys attending courses and keeping on top of the latest and best treatment options for patients. When she's not working, Clare enjoy travelling, reading and spending time with her friends and family at home in Cork.
Dr Emer MorganDentistDr Emer Morgan is a general dentist at Dental Care Ireland in Dundrum. Emer brings a wealth of experience to our practice. She qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 having represented Ireland in the European Students Dental Association for three years.
After graduation, Emer worked for three years in general practice in the UK. She then spent 6 months in Zambia providing dental treatment in the most remote areas, followed by two years working in general practice in Australia. Emer then returned back to Ireland in 2006 and has been working and living here ever since.
Emer continued her postgraduate education at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida. She specializes in pain-free relationship based dentistry with the main focus on providing dentistry which creates long-lasting comfort, function and naturally beautiful teeth.
Emer is a member of the Irish Dental Association.
