Dr Colm Traynor Ba BDents Sc, MFDS RCSI graduated with honours from Trinity College and has gained experience working in Louth, Dublin and Australia before joining the practice.
Colm is particularly interested in the provision of treatment for nervous patients in a sympathetic and relaxed environment. Maximum care with minimum trauma.

Dr. Andrew Khoury is a dedicated dentist with a passion for orthodontics and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Graduating from CEU Cardinal Herrera University in 2020, Dr. Khoury spent a transformative year in Lebanon, where he shadowed an orthodontist and provided charitable dental care to Palestinian communities. In 2021, he relocated to Wexford, where he now offers a full range of general dental services and comprehensive clear aligner treatments
In 2023, Dr. Khoury expanded his practice to Carlow, focusing exclusively on Invisalign and other clear aligner treatments. As a comprehensive provider, he enjoys treating older teenagers and adults, helping them achieve their best smiles with modern orthodontic solutions. Driven by a goal to become an orthodontist, he continually invests in advanced training, staying at the forefront of orthodontic innovations.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Khoury channels his dedication to making a positive impact into coaching the U18 football/soccer team of a local Wexford club, inspiring young athletes to reach their potential.

After graduating from University, Dr Shahriar Khorshid worked in a private practice in Budapest, Hungary. He completed one year of postgraduate studies in Germany before returning to Iran to volunteer as a General Practitioner.
While Dr Shahriar Khorshid enjoys General Dentistry, he is also passionate about Surgeries, Periodontics, Endodontics and Prosthodontics. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry, especially treatments associated with gums, oral conditions, and root canals.
Dr Shahriar Khorshid's favourite aspect of working at Dental Care Ireland is interacting with patients on a day-to-day basis and providing them with quality dentistry. He believes that interacting with his patients before, during and after their treatment is essential to ensure they are comfortable and satisfied.
Dr. Shahriar Khorshid is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry. He understands that the field is constantly evolving, especially with the introduction of new dental technologies. He believes in the importance of maintaining the highest standard of dentistry across various fields and is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development.
Dr Khorshid has worked and studied in various countries worldwide, including his home country, Iran.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and climbing. I have a particular interest in tennis, swimming, and volleyball. I also enjoy reading and cooking.

Dr Angus Burns, B. Dent Sc., MFD (RCSI), D. Ch. Dent., M. Orth. (RSCEd) – Specialist in Orthodontics
Angus graduated from Trinity College Dublin with an honours degree in Dental Science in 2004. He was awarded his RCSI membership in 2006 and subsequently returned to the Dublin Dental Hospital to complete his three year full time specialist training in Orthodontics.
On completion of his specialist training Angus was awarded his clinical doctorate from Trinity and his M. Orth. qualification from the RCS (Edinburgh) and is listed on the Dental Council Register of Specialist Orthodontists. He actively keeps himself informed of the latest developments in orthodontics and holds a part time teaching position in the Dublin Dental Hospital.

Jennifer started her career as a dental nurse before qualifying as a dental hygienist in 1993 and joined the practice in 2000.

Marta Polgroszek is a dental hygienist from Poland. Marta graduated from Krakow Medical College in 2005 and has been working in the dental industry ever since. She moved to Ireland in 2006 where she also gained registration as a dental hygienist.
Marta Polgroszek enjoys developing her skills and knowledge in the dental industry through attending online and college-based courses that are tailored to allow her to grow and flourish as a dental hygienist. Marta's passion for her career is evident in the way she treats and helps her patients. Her kind and caring nature helps patients relax and become more comfortable during their treatment.
In her spare time, Marta likes to read, paint, spend time with family and friends and go for long walks by the sea. She also has a passion for travelling and visiting new places.

Proudly from Carlow, Fiona is a highly qualified dental hygienist with a strong scientific background, holding First Class Honours degrees in both Biopharmaceuticals with Bioscience and Dental Hygiene from University College Cork, UCC. During her studies, she was awarded the UCC Curaprox Award for Best Performance in Dental Hygiene Clinical Research and achieved a Distinction in Dental Radiography, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based care.
She combines her expert knowledge with a kind and reassuring approach, always aiming to help nervous patients feel relaxed and comfortable so every visit is a positive experience.
Outside the clinic, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family, as well as pursuing her passions for photography and travelling.

Majella Bowden graduated from WIT with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management in 2017. Majella started working in Dental Care Ireland in 2018 as a Receptionist in Callan Dental. Majella was delighted to take the Practice Manager position in Carlow back in September 2022. Outside of work, Majella loves baking, reading and her dogs!
