Composite veneers are ideal for achieving that perfect smile

Composite veneers

Composite veneers are affixed to the front of your teeth to cover any imperfections, leaving you with a bright, natural-looking smile

Composite veneers are thin layers of material that are custom-made just for you. They are then bonded to your teeth by your dentist to cover any blemishes and provide you with a perfect smile.

Is there a dentist near me that does veneers?

Yes, Northumberland Dental Care in Ballsbridge in Dublin 4 fits patients with dental veneers.

What are composite veneers?

Veneers are thin strips made of ceramic or composite resin that are used to cover minor gaps, disfigurements or blemishes on your teeth. They are for aesthetic purposes only and aim to provide you with a natural-looking smile.

Do I need dental veneers?

If you want to improve the general look of your teeth, then they are a very simple and effective solution. The best thing to do is to discuss what you need with your dentist. He or she will advise you if veneers are suitable for you and whether they will deal with any issues you may be having with your teeth.

How much does this treatment cost?

Prices for all dental treatments, whether general or cosmetic, vary from patient to patient and will depend on the extent of the issue that needs to be fixed. You will find a guide to our fees here.

Also note that some treatments may qualify for 20 per cent tax relief under the Med 2 Scheme. Contact the team here in Dublin 4 today for further details.

What is the best type to get?

Your dentist will be able to advise you on the veneers – or other cosmetic treatment – that will best suit you.

How long does the treatment take?

Getting dental veneers usually takes just two visits to your dentist. On the first visit, the dentist will assess your needs, take a mould so your unique veneers can be made in the lab and then prepare your mouth for the fitting of the veneers.

Then, about two to four weeks, later you will return to the practice and the dentist will fit your custom-made veneers.

How long do dental veneers last?

Veneers can last as long as 10 years, though this depends on various factors, including age, wear and tear and other issues affecting your teeth. And if you ever do have an issue with your veneers, just return to us and we will deal with it straightaway.
