Lucy Whitworth graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield in 2016 and has continued to enhance her expertise through advanced training. With extensive experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as facial rejuvenation, she is dedicated to providing patients with the latest treatments.

Lucy Whitworth is known for her calm and gentle approach, creating a relaxed and stress–free environment for her patients. Her focus on preventative care and patient education reflects her belief in promoting long–term oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of dentistry, Lucy is passionate about health and wellness and became a certified yoga instructor in 2022, highlighting her holistic approach to a balanced lifestyle.

Francesca Pili graduated from the University of Cagliari in 2012 and brings with her a strong commitment to patient care and professional excellence. She is delighted to join the Team at DCI Killarney, where she looks forward to continuing her career and providing high quality care to the local community. Francesca resides in Cahersiveen with her Family and is eager to welcome and treat new patients in Killarney.  

Dr Rana Majid Mansoor is a Dental Surgeon and Fellow of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), with a special interest in Oral Surgical Dentistry. With over 10 years of clinical experience, he is committed to delivering gentle, honest, and personalised care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. He takes the time to clearly explain every stage of treatment, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their dental journey.

Throughout his career, Dr Rana has worked within multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of roles and clinical settings. He served as a Registrar in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Galway University Hospital, where he gained extensive experience over three years.

Passionate about evidence-based dentistry, Dr Rana is dedicated to continuous professional development. He regularly attends national and international scientific conferences and training courses and has contributed to the profession through published articles and poster presentations.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Rana enjoys playing cricket in his free time.

Deirdre Leslie is our Lead Nurse here at Dental Care Ireland Killarney. A local girl, Dee has been with the practice for a large part of her career. Dee oversees our nursing staff and is the lead educator and compliance officer within the practice.

Known for her warm and approachable manner, Dee is passionate about building lasting relationships with her colleagues and patients alike; supporting them every step of the way.

Shauna began her dental career in 2016, graduating from UCC as a Dental Nurse. After 5 years of working in many dental practices, Shauna went on to study Dental Hygiene and graduated from UCC in 2024. Her calm, friendly manner helps put nervous patients at ease.

Shauna is dedicated to delivering exceptional care with a gentle, professional approach, prioritising both patient comfort and long-term oral health.Shauna is registered with the Irish Dental Council and is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienists Association.

Helena is a dental hygienist who graduated from University College Cork with First Class Honours in 2024. She is a member of the Irish Dental Association. Helena is dedicated to supporting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health through preventative treatment and education, while consistently delivering high quality, patient-centred care with a gentle and caring approach.

Originally from Beaufort, Helen recently returned home after 33 years in Chicago. With 23 years in the dental industry, she brings a wealth of experience and a strong focus on patient care and customer service. Helen is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where every Patient and Team member feels valued and supported.
