We are delighted to welcome Dr. Aoife McGinley to the dental team at Reva Dental. Aoife has practiced in Kilkenny for over 20 years and has vast experience in all areas of general and family dentistry. Aoife is an extremely professional & talented dentist and has a lovely caring manner making her extremely popular with her patients.

Dr Mary Coman graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Trinity College Dublin in 2014. She frequently attends continued professional development courses to further her experience in general dental practice. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and building a rapport with them. She aims to provide a high standard of dental care to all her patients with a professional and caring manner.

Dr. Maeve O'Flynn qualified from UCC and worked in a community dentistry and general practice in Cambridge, UK. She gained much experience in all aspects of dentistry and was awarded the Greer Walker award. She returned to Ireland and worked for the HSE before going on to establish her own practice on Parliament street in 1994.

Maeve offers a comprehensive range of treatments with a strong emphasis on prevention. She enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and is particularly interested in pediatric dentistry and the management of nervous/anxious patients.

Maeve is a past secretary and president of the south eastern branch of the Irish Dental Association and continues to be a member. She is also a member of the Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care. She is committed to continuing professional development and attends numerous courses.

Dr Silvia Fernández-Checa Kern finished her Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry in 2020 at the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid. During the following two years she completed a master's degree at the same university specialising in oral surgery, implants and prosthodontics. Her work is especially focused on oral rehabilitation treatments and working with the other specialties to be able to offer the patient a complete treatment from all relevant aspects of dental healthcare.

She is a dedicated and empathetic person who thrives to help her patients understand what it means to have and maintain good oral health.

After graduating from University, Dr Shahriar Khorshid worked in a private practice in Budapest, Hungary. He completed one year of postgraduate studies in Germany before returning to Iran to volunteer as a General Practitioner.

While Dr Shahriar Khorshid enjoys General Dentistry, he is also passionate about Surgeries, Periodontics, Endodontics and Prosthodontics. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry, especially treatments associated with gums, oral conditions, and root canals.

Dr Shahriar Khorshid's favourite aspect of working at Dental Care Ireland is interacting with patients on a day-to-day basis and providing them with quality dentistry. He believes that interacting with his patients before, during and after their treatment is essential to ensure they are comfortable and satisfied.

Dr. Shahriar Khorshid is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry. He understands that the field is constantly evolving, especially with the introduction of new dental technologies. He believes in the importance of maintaining the highest standard of dentistry across various fields and is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development.

Dr Khorshid has worked and studied in various countries worldwide, including his home country, Iran.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and climbing. I have a particular interest in tennis, swimming, and volleyball. I also enjoy reading and cooking.

Linda Qualified from Trinity College Dublin with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2005 and has worked in Reva Dental since then. She is an integral part of the team and is extremely popular with her patients, offering at all times a thoroughly professional and high quality hygiene service. Linda regularly attends post-graduation lectures and courses which keeps her up to date on any advancements in Dental Hygiene, and allows her to provide the best possible care for patients.

Stephanie is a registered dental hygienist who graduated with honours in dental hygiene. She likes to ensure that patients feel welcome and receive first class treatment with her friendly, warm and professional manner. She provides preventative oral hygiene treatments and ensures a gentle comforting approach for nervous patients. She helps motivate patients to enhance their oral care routine, for both a healthy and happy smile. She is an active member of the Irish Dental Council and the Irish Dental Hygienist Association and frequently attends dental conferences in order to continuously develop her skill set.

Vanessa Moore started working in Dental Care Ireland in 2016 as a receptionist in Callan Dental. Vanessa was delighted to take the practice manager position in Ballyowen Castle based in Lucan in April 2024. Outside of work, Vanessa loves watching rugby, reading and spending time with her family.

Aoife is a dedicated dental professional who received a diploma in Dental Nursing from Trinity College Dublin in 2015 and a diploma in Dental Hygiene from University College Cork, graduating in 2021. With over six years of experience as a dental nurse, she brings a strong foundation in patient care and clinical support. Aoife is passionate about promoting oral health, with a particular focus on helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral hygiene in a friendly and supportive environment.
