Gus graduated from Sheffield University in 1989 and initially worked in the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital before working in General Dental Practice and in the University with dental students. Gus joined Donal Tully in practice in Newtown in 1993 and took over the running of the practice in 1998.
In 2009 he designed and relocated the practice to the Williamstown Centre. He is actively involved in Postgraduate Education and is course organiser in the South East for Continuing Dental Education Courses. He is a former examiner with The National Examining Board of Dental Nurses in the UK and he also ran teaching and training programmes for Dental Nurses.
From 2010 to 2012 Gus completed a 2 year part time postgraduate program at the Dublin Dental Hospital and was awarded a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry. This was then followed by a one year program in dental implants. He subsequently returned to part time study at the Dublin Dental Hospital completing his Masters in Clinical Dentistry with modules in Prosthodontics and Paediatric dentistry and completed his thesis in 2018 on the use of dental appliance for the management of snoring and sleep apnoea. In 2019, he was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
He has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, crown & bridgework and dental implants as well as the treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea and according to his wife and two children, he does not spend enough time at home!

Dr Sinead Allis graduated from University College Cork Dental School in 2002 and moved to the UK soon after. She spent 18 years working in the UK but has recently relocated back to Ireland with her family.
Sinead’s postgraduate studies include a Certificate in Endodontics (root canal treatment), Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDF RCS Eng) and a Masters in Conservative Dentistry (MSc).
In 2009, Sinead returned to full-time education to complete a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCL), London. This area of dentistry focuses on restoring or replacing damaged or missing teeth in a minimally invasive manner. It was while studying and working with specialist consultants at the Eastman that Sinead decided to focus her career on Implant dentistry. Following her Masters degree, she was a visiting lecturer at the Eastman Dental Institute on the Overseas Registration Examination courses.
Since 2009, Dr Sinead Allis has worked in specialist implant and oral surgery practices providing all aspects of Implant Dentistry from single tooth replacements to full arch restorations. She is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and is fully committed to postgraduate education. She attends a wide range of implant related courses and conferences both in the UK and abroad. Sinead is very passionate about her work and always aims to provide a high standard of care to all her patients.
In her spare time, Sinead is a keen runner and cyclist. She has competed in marathons and triathlons, both at home and abroad, but the Irish sport Camogie was her first love.

Dr. Razan Abd El Hai graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland in 2021. She has since relocated to Ireland, where she has been living and practicing for the past three years.
Originally from a Palestinian-Canadian background, Dr. Abd El Hai is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. She has a particular interest in caring for children and adults with autism, providing a supportive and comfortable environment.
With a growing passion for cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Abd El Hai is committed to continually advancing her skills and plans to pursue further training in Botox, Invisalign, and advanced cosmetic procedures. Her dedication to lifelong learning ensures she remains at the forefront of modern dental care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Abd El Hai enjoys cooking and traveling, finding inspiration in exploring new cuisines and cultures.

Dr Emma Buckley graduated with an honour’s degree from University College Cork. She enjoys providing treatment in all aspects of general dentistry.
Emma spent some time practicing dentistry in New Ross before returning to her home county of Waterford. She is particularly interested in aesthetic dentistry and helping patients smile with confidence.
Emma aims to make every dental visit a positive one for all her patients and prides herself in her friendly chairside manner.
Outside of dentistry, Emma enjoys keeping active, painting, and playing the piano.

Dr. Aileen Foley focuses on providing advanced aesthetic minimally-invasive dentistry to her patients in friendly and comfortable surroundings. She is happy to take the time to explain and discuss the available treatment options to ensure every patient receives the best care individualized to their needs.
After graduating with Honours from her primary degree from University College Cork, Aileen has committed to further training and education to ensure she provides the highest level of care to her patients. While working in London and Dublin she developed an interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. This then led to the successful completion of a master’s degree in aesthetic restorative dentistry at King’s College London, where she graduated with distinction. Aileen is an experienced Invisalign provider and educator and earned a diploma in clear aligner therapy from the City of London Dental School. She has also completed a prosthodontic implant course in the Eastman Institute, London.
Aileen is also passionate about dental education and teaching other dentists and dental students. She has spent time as a Clinical Supervisor to undergraduate students at Dublin and Cork Dental University Hospitals. She has also been a Clinical Advisor to dentists undertaking Invisalign training.
Having successfully completed her membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons of England she is now a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) and the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP(UK).
Aileen Foley BDS NUI, MJDF RCSE, MSc

Dr Halley is a specialist Oral Surgeon. She practices in our Waterford, Swords, Cabinteely, Carlow and Callan practices. Her practice is limited to oral surgery care.
In 2018, she was awarded a clinical doctorate in oral surgery from the Dublin Dental University Hospital achieving first class honours and the Dean’s prize.
Prior to this, Dr Halley had worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery units in the Dublin Dental University Hospital, St James’s Hospital, Bristol Dental Hospital and Cardiff giving her a strong foundation in the management and treatment of patients.

Dr Cormac Cullinane BDS NUI MSc (ULond) graduated from UCC in 1995, following which he worked in a general dental practice for a number of years. In 2009, he was awarded an MSc in Endodontics with distinction from the Eastman Dental Institute, London and was the recipient of the Dentsply Maillefer Endodontology graduate prize for the highest clinical and academic achievement. Following this, he has limited his practice to Endodontics.
He regularly runs hands-on endodontic/ root canal treatment courses and has presented at Irish Dental Association and Irish Endodontic Society meetings.
In addition, he is a visiting lecturer on the MSc Endodontic programme in University of Central Lancashire and a lecturer, examiner and member of the Programme Committee for the Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontic Practice at the Eastman Dental Institute. Dr Cullinane as an endodontist provides root canal treatments and related services.

Michelle joined our team of dental hygienists this year after relocating back to Ireland, having worked as a dental hygienist for a number of years in the UK.

Sharon joined Dental Care Ireland Waterford in 2021. She graduated as a hygienist from UCC, where she received the Dentsply Best Clinical Skills award.
Before becoming a hygienist, she worked as a dental nurse.
Based on the results of a dental exam, she will offer patients instructions for their dental care. She specialises in preventive oral hygiene to aid in improvements in daily oral health routine, together with regular visits for a scale and polish, can prevent signs of decay and gum disease, and instructs patients on the most suitable products to use.
Outside of work she is kept busy with her two boys, and enjoys swimming, cycling and walks on the beach.

Aoife Breen is a Hygienist at Dental Care Ireland Waterford and Callan

Aoife Lawlor qualified as a Dental Hygienist from University College Cork in 2012 and joined Dental Care Ireland in 2024. She has over a decade experience in preventative dentistry and is committed to supporting patients in maintaining healthy gums and confident smiles.
Aoife particularly enjoys helping nervous patients feel comfortable during treatment and providing practical advise that makes oral care part of everyday life.
Outside of work Aoife loves walking her dogs along the beach and spending time outdoors.

David is the Practice Manager here at Dental Care Ireland, Waterford.
