Dental Team Virginia

Helen graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2007. Following her graduation, she completed a Vocational Training year through NIMDTA and Queens University in Northern Ireland.

In 2011 she began working as Principal dentist in Virginia Dental Surgery. Helen went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in Manchester University in 2013 and has continued working in Virginia Dental Surgery and sister dental practice in Ballyjamesduff since.

Helen has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, crowns and dental rehabilitation. She works closely with our orthodontist and periodontist/implant specialist in treatment planning restorative cases and also enjoys working with children.

Helen has four children herself and enjoys her free time playing with them, reading and walking.

Dr Brendan O'Gara BDS first joined our dental team in Virginia in December 2012. With over 30 years' experience in general dentistry, Brendan is an excellent dentist. He treats all types of patients but has a special interest in oral surgery, crown and bridge work.

Brendan's roots are in Manchester and Donegal but he has spent most of his career in Australia. He was accredited to various Australian hospitals to perform general dentistry with a focus on oral surgery under general anaesthesia. He also spent time as a dentist for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Queensland.

Brendan enjoys travelling, hillwalking, traditional Irish music, and plays piano, fiddle and accordion. He played chess at county level in the UK, and as a member of MENSA has an affinity for problem solving, particularly in dentistry.

Dr Conor Lynch graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2018 and was awarded a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2020. A Meath native, Dr Conor Lynch developed a passion for dentistry having spent many years helping out in his father’s practice in Trim. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry including treating nervous patients and children while practicing to a high clinical standard and paying attention to detail.

Conor is also very committed to continuous professional development and regularly attended postgraduate courses both at home and abroad which allows him to keep up to date with the newest materials and technologies in order to provide the best possible care to all his patients. He has also just recently completed a PG Dip in Prosthodontics from Tipton Training and is currently undertaking postgraduate training in Endodontics.

Michelle qualified from Queens University Belfast in 2002 and has been working in Virginia since 2005. Michelle has a keen interest in oral health care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children

Inès Mufuta graduated from the Dublin Dental University Hospital at Trinity College in 2021 with a distinction in Dip. Dental Hygiene.

She is very passionate about her role as a hygienist and enjoys teaching her patients to manage their oral care to a level that they are satisfied with. Her main priority as a dental health care provider is to help her patients achieve a level of health in an open and friendly environment.

Lindsey Gaynor is a Practice Manager in our Dental Care Ireland Virginia practice.
