    Jacqueline is the principle dentist at Callan Dental.

    Jacqueline's commitment to continuing education and modern techniques is coupled with her desire to provide the best possible treatment for each patient.  You are the most important person in her day.

    Jacqueline qualified with honours from Trinity College in 2005. After qualifying, she moved to the UK and undertook an optional postgraduate vocational program and worked in private practice perfecting her skills.

    Jacqueline has a passion for all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. Over the years she has devoted herself to advanced technical training and to studying with some of the masters in the dental profession. Her skill for smile design is a result of this extensive training combined with a naturally artistic eye. She has developed expertise in the highly specialised areas of cosmetic veneers and smile design.

    Jacqueline has completed numerous courses on cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry and treatment of nervous patients. She is accredited by the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London after completing postgraduate programmes in ‘Pain Management and Sedation’ and ‘Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry’.

    Dr Elaine Shore
    Elaine graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 with an honours degree in Dental Science. After this, she spent a year working as a house officer at the Dublin Dental University Hospital, followed by private practice in Castlebar, Carlow and Dublin. Elaine was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2014.

    Elaine's particular areas of interest are pediatric dentistry, looking after nervous patients, and caring for people with special dental needs. During her time as house officer she conducted research into the oral health of Irish preschool children, and was among the authors on the resulting paper published in the European Archives of Paediatric Dentistry in 2014.

    Elaine believes that each patient deserves the very best and up to date care. She is committed to continually updating her skills and frequently travels both within Ireland and overseas attending courses and conferences to maintain her continued professional development.

    Dr Dympna Reynolds
    From a young age helping people, medicine and art were key factors in the decision process for Dympna's future career.

    She completed her undergraduate degree training in Trinity College Dublin graduating in 2015.

    During her time in Dublin Dental Hospital Dympna gained knowledge in all fields of dentistry but was most passionate about the treatment of patients who are nervous. The process of identifying dental fear and aiding the patient in overcoming this to achieve good oral health was hugely important to her.

    She has completed additional training in aesthetic bonded restorations and has a keen interest in the field of aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

    She is furthering her career in aesthetic and cosmetic fields by attending on going courses.

    Dr Aoife Farrell
    Since having orthodontic treatment as a teenager, Aoife became fascinated with dentistry and decided to pursue this career path. When she began working, she soon found that she really enjoyed treating nervous patients and this is now her main field of expertise.

    Aoife completed 5 years full time undergraduate training in University College Cork, she qualified with an honours degree in 2008.  She went on to do twelve months part time post graduate training with Dr. Paul Tipton in restorative dentistry. She completed weekend courses with Dr. Chris Charon for inhalation sedation training and also completed an eighteen month part time, post graduate training in conscious sedation and pain management from Eastman School of Dentistry in 2014.  Aoife continues upskilling each year with numerous courses per year in continuing professional development and takes part in yearly CPD courses in order to keep up to date with new advances and techniques in dentistry.

    Dentistry interested Aoife as she wanted to work in a caring capacity for people. She qualified from UCC in 2012. She then moved to England where she completed a year's vocational training and then completed exams to become a member of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

    She is currently undertaking a masters in Restorative Dental Practice at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Restorative dentistry is the study, diagnosis and management of diseases of the mouth and restoring the teeth to a high functional and aesthetic standard. This has always been her main area of interest.

Our practice ethos focuses on restoring and maintaining good oral health for all patients. Our dentists are especially trained for the treatment of anxious and nervous patients.
