Terms & Conditions

Access

We are able to provide services for wheel chair users, please advise the reception team when making your appointment of your requirements.

Appointments

You can book an appointment at reception or by calling us.

We recommend you visit your dentist for regular examinations. Your dentist will always advise you of when you require your next dental examination. The interval between check-ups depends on how healthy your teeth and gums are and your risk of future problems.

Emergency Appointments

If you require emergency dental treatment please call us at your local practice. Should an emergency arise outside of our opening times, then our answering service will advise you of what you can do to access treatment.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Should you need to cancel an appointment you have made with us, please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. This will enable us to offer your appointment slot to one of our other patients.

Please be aware that should you miss your appointment or fail to cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may have to wait several weeks before we could see you again. Please also be aware that there will be a charge of Euro 40 per hour for missed appointments.

Payment

Payment for treatment can be made by cash or most major credit cards and will be due after each appointment. If you think you qualify for Public Health Service dental treatment, please let us know at the start of any course of treatment and have your PPS number/valid medical card on hand to verify exemption.

Current fees for any Public Health Service charges and Private Treatment you may choose to have will be given to you in your treatment plan options.

Our Service

We hope that you will be entirely satisfied with both the dental treatment and service you receive from us. If, for any reason, you are not happy then please contact the practice manager in the first instance. Dental Care Ireland takes all complaints seriously and will ensure that any are handled in accordance with its complaints procedure.

Confidentiality

Strict confidentiality is maintained at all times. Any information you provide us with, including sensitive data, will be dealt in accordance with the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003.

Respect

We believe everyone should be treated with respect. We will not tolerate abusive or violent behavior towards our staff or patients. Anyone suspected of such will be removed from our lists.
